Alright guys...You know the roll call drill. Who is coming to the Chattanooga show? I'm trying my best to go to the show the next night, but the Chattanooga show is my only guarantee (due to work, of course). Anyway, I'm there.

i'd go to the chattanooga show, but i'll be at the steve earle show in knoxville. i'd like to see steve sit in with the features. i could hear him singing gsrnr. hell, he did a bang up job with nirvana's breed.
You know you have problems, with both money and alcohol, when you find yourself shoving beers down your pants outside a Features show.

If you go, I go. But this means that I'll have to come up with two cool outfits in a row.

Hopefully today I will find the mythical polka dot shirt... I already passed on some fine Oasis vinyl in hopes of finding the holy grail of vintage clothes.

I'm always a sucker for vintage comic t-shirts. My Claremont/Byrne era X-Men shirt is one of my prized posessions.

I am SO excited. See, I talk to this girl at work, Marianne, about The Features all the time. Well, it just so happens that she is off on Friday, too. So, she is making the trek with me to Chattanooga to see them play. I plan to give her a crash course in Features music on the way down there just so she knows what's going on. So, those of you going, be sure to be nice to her (I know you will anyway)! She's a Features virgin, and God knows I love turning people on to this great band. biggrin.gif

deflowering features virigns is always fun. in the last year my batting average is about 7:0. i've managed to get 7 people to like the features. i've come to a conclusion that they are just a band everyone can enjoy. my mom likes them!

I made my mom a mix cd of Weezer, The Dandy Warhols and The Features which she does enjoy thoroughly. The songs on it are Walk You Home, The Beginning, See You Through, Dark Room, Leave It All Behind and Kari-Ann all of which she enjoys.

Heck, my mom met Oasis with me and told them all that she was their oldest fan; she was as excited as me.

still no one has any word on the opening band(s) or times? i guess i shall be at this show too. i am excited as this will be my first show at the attic, as well as the first time i've travelled further than nashville to see the features. i'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

The number for The Attic is 423 265 9727 if you want to call and find out the specifics. For those of you who have never been to The Attic...it's small, it's dark, it's generally sticky, and extra smokey, so dress appropriately.

I'll be there, and I'm looking forward to meeting some of you. I haven't decided what I'm wearing yet, but I'll have my portable recording studio in tow. iwantelvis, I hope you're bringing chocolate chip.

Yes, I do have to say that if you are a message board member and will be in attendence tomorrow nite, you need to muscle your way up to the very front of the stage to keep the slam-dancing-beer-spewing-locals from taking the attention away from the Features and being disrespectful. I know I plan on it.

digsy: Mama... I think I'm gonna hurl mama.

Well, I must state that the quotes happened in reverse order, but that was the gist.

And let's not forget me telling Andy Bell that he was the greatest bass player ever, and him laughing with flattery or whatever...

I would bring my cattle prod, but I think it would only encourage them. I'm not usually shy, though, and if someone's pissing me off at a show, I usually (politely) tell them.

I, too, plan on being in front. I think my spastic dancing may scare off some of the locals.....but i guess that's what i get for graduating from the ian curtis school of dance.....
