June 19th? That's far enough in the future for me to make plans for. I'll start looking for cheap flights!

DANG IT!  I would be all about going to this show, but I'll be out of town for a big family deal.  I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer to see The Features (and some of you) again.

It's on my calendar.

Speaking of which, I notice the site has a calendar function.  Can we add it, or is it just for holidays and birthdays?

Carl, when's the date?

I'll be getting back from Italy that day (with Mediterranean tan and new wife), so we'll have to see how I feel as to whether I'll make it.

Thanks for pointing that out, carligula.  I had forgotten to give everyone permission to post on the calendar.  That situation has now been corrected.  I also took a few minutes to improve the calendar's appearance.  It was looking pretty crappy.

So... as Carl mentioned, there's a "Calendar" link in the menu bar at the top of each page.  Right now, it just shows holidays and members' birthdays, but you guys can add whatever you want to it.  Please feel free to post upcoming shows (Features or other bands), weddings, visits back to Middle Tennessee... whatever you want.  When you post an event, you'll have the option to link your event to a new topic if you'd like to start some discussion about it.

If you have any problems with the calendar or would like to see its functionality expanded, please let me know!
It's like watching your favorite TV show on DVD.

No.   :(  I'll be out of town, and I'm really bummed.  I'd love to catch up with you guys again.  (And hearing The Features play would be a nice bonus.)

My wife and I plan on being there.

Are the support acts worth showing up early for?  I know nothing about them.

Did they play Armani Suede?  How was the show?

I was too wiped out after long international flying to attempt this one.  I'll be there next time.

It was really, really, really, really, retardedly hot.  Can the Mercy Lounge not keep their club cool all the time or was their air out of order?
The show was great!

Great show! So nice to see all the familiar faces again. It was also nice to just look out at the crowd and see so many people as happy as me, singing along with as much passion. Man, I missed that.

Here's the setlist, just not in order...

Golden Comb
Alicia
Big Momma
The Beginning
Armani Suede
Two By Two
Exhibit A
The Way It's Meant To Be
Me & The Skirts
Blow It Out
There's A Million Ways To Sing The Blues
Exorcising Demons
The Idea Of Growing Old
Whatever Gets You By
The Drawing Board
GMF
Temporary Blues
The Gates Of Hell
Still Lost
My Baby's Hammer
Lions
All I Ask
Thursday

The encore was Still Lost, Idea of Growing Old and Blow It Out...which was an odd encore. Low energy but hearing Still Lost was great. The new songs are all so much fun, and hearing Armani Seude? BRILLIANT.

I knew it was going to be an awesome show when they started with The Beginning. That's how you start a show!
