The Privates
« on: April 20, 2009, 04:54:25 PM »
I've been way behind on the Privates, who seem to have been pretty active during the dark period of the MB, and I only have the first EP (of which I don't even have accurate album artwork to put on my iPod, it 'found' some weird beach/lifeguard house artwork from what might be a 60s album and I use that). April put a song of theirs on a mix CD that I don't have the name for. Starts with "in the garden with the garbage, swear to God I thought I saw a snake." Any takers?

That song is called Song 2.

"They" have a new EP out. Just went up on iTunes. It's called "Motion." It's awesome.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

Barricades was even better than the first album.  Superb live band.

I swear I've seen that drummer somewhere else...

You have a very good memory, Carligula.  He used to play with Papa Patterson and the Patterson Family.

Who are they, Blur?
Yeah! We'll call it "Freedom"! I like that. But "freedom" rhymes with "weefrom," like "Weefrom the land of rock!" What? It's good!
