Battlestar is more relevant than even Lost.

Yeah, I was thinking, was there any "Battlestar" talk on the old board, or did that show come and go during the dark age?


Anyway, it was a great show. Not too keen on the finale. Consider this thread hijacked.

Anyway, it was a great show. Not too keen on the finale. Consider this thread hijacked.

Battlestar debuted in January '05 so the old board was still very much alive when it first came out.  However, I think it was a bit too nerdy for most of the MB crowd so it has never been discussed here.

I didn't get into the show until after the second season had already aired.  I liked it much better in the beginning when it was about flying fighters, shooting robots, and man/machine lovin'.  Overall, I thought the show got too preachy/new-age-ish in the latter years.  I wasn't crazy about the finale at first, but after I thought about it for a while, I found it very satisfying.

And I'm sure Mr. Eno would approve of us hijacking his thread because it only proves his statement that all relative topics will eventually come up.
