This is probably the saddest news I've ever heard.
Yeah! We'll call it "Freedom"! I like that. But "freedom" rhymes with "weefrom," like "Weefrom the land of rock!" What? It's good!

This is very sad indeed.  When I saw the headline earlier today that he had been rushed to the hospital, I had the unsettling feeling that it wasn't going to be good.

Wasn't he scheduled to play some shows in London soon?

jamiecarroll, are you still a fan of MJ?

He had fifty european shows starting in a couple weeks, a big deal. Sold out, etc.

MTV is playing nothing but Michael Jackson videos. They are, for the most part, completely ridiculous and insane...and entertaining.

i don't think it's all that sad. he'd ceased being relevant.

If anything, his death has made him relevant again.

That's how I feel.  I stopped caring about him, but since this has happened, I remembered back to the good ol' days (when I wasn't alive) and how great a lot of that music is.

I've always been more of a Prince fan, but I hold Michael Jackson in very high regard, too.  Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad are all incredible albums, and honestly, Dangerous is not that bad, either.  R.I.P.

PS - You know who is a HUGE MJ fan (or at least was)?  brianeno2
