Who Are the Good Nashville Bands to See?
« on: August 21, 2009, 01:54:45 PM »
My list of favorite bands from around here is so 2005.  I guess it died when the board died.  Nashville Cream talks about different bands, but I don't see from there which ones are actually any good.

I know I want to see Totally Snake, Caitlin Rose, and Those Darlins.

Other than that, what out there is worth a darn, and who out there is the band that is really a draw these days?

Any thoughts?

I like Shoot The Mountain and I only saw Mean Tambourines once and I don't remember much about them other than I kind of liked them. Heypenny has gotten REALLY good. And I like Tristen a lot.
I TOTALLY AGREE!

I heard Mean Tambourines were a mix of the killers and contemporary U2, which didn't make me all too excited about them.  Anyone else see them?
