Even though it was a re-cap show, I went to Keith's anyway, but he kicked me out   :(

Okay, that's true.  You didn't "kick me out".  But when you asked if I wanted to make out with you it just felt uncomfortable and I thought it would be best if I just left.

That almost makes me like Desmond more, you know, in a trashy kind of way.
Yeah! We'll call it "Freedom"! I like that. But "freedom" rhymes with "weefrom," like "Weefrom the land of rock!" What? It's good!

Man, where IS Ashley (a.k.a. "MissSeptember")? What does she think about that?

That's a very good question.  We're still missing a bunch of people who should be here.

Is tonight the big season finale, or is that next week?

Who's this fake John Locke guy?  Is Sun going to find Claire and give her the DS Charlie ring?  Are the 70's folks really dead?  Guess we'll have to wait the long wait until the new season.

Yeah, good cliffhanger but also such a tease. All the other season finales have given us a hint of something in that last shot, this just gave us nothing. I have no clue what's going to happen! Some think, and I do too, that Locke is the smoke monster, that the guy that was chilling with Jacob way back when that wanted to kill him somehow became that smoke monster. I think it would make sense.

Only time I teared up in the finale was when Sun found Charlie's ring. Yup.

spoila spoila, y'all.....just in case.

i get really frustrated because i can never come up with any sort of intelligent critique or analysis about lost.  i just watch it and it is good.  sometimes i think about how good it is, but it really doesn't go any further than that.  maybe the occassional theory on the smoke monster or statue.

i teared up right before jack dropped the bomb and then when juliet was smackin' it.  i almost teared up when the driveshaft ring was found, but mostly because i wanted it so bad.

question:  did juliet get plastic surgery before this season started?  or is she just naturally taut-city and i never noticed before?
Oh my God, we're back again.

My friend does a dead on impression of Juliet and it only involves her talking and not moving her upper lip. I asked her last night if that was something new this season, like she just got some snip snip, and she said no, she's always been like that. I should go back and watch some season three eps and see. I like season three Juliet. She's become kinda pointless lately, and is doing too many Kate-decision-flip-flops.

I loved the season finale.  My passion for Lost has been officially reignited... which is terrible timing since I now have to wait nine months for it to come on again.

So let's discuss our theories...

Who's this fake John Locke guy?

I think Jacob's "enemy" from the episode's first scene has taken the form of John Locke.  I also think that he lived in the cabin in the woods... not Jacob.  He was the one who asked John Locke for help when Ben took John to the cabin.

Is Sun going to find Claire and give her the DS Charlie ring?

I think we'll see Claire again.  I was disappointed that we didn't see her at all this season.  I also think Aaron has a big role to play in the overall story.

Are the 70's folks really dead?

I doubt it.  I can't imagine them killing off all of them.  They're too important to the show.  (Juliet, however, may be toast... literally)

What do you guys make of the title screen shown at the very end of the episode, with LOST written in black on a white background (which is reversed from the way it's always been done)?  What does that signify?

I think it's likely that we'll be seeing 2004 again, with the crash not having happened. Although this would just be a huge shakeup, and would the cahracters even remember each other and what happened? Agh, who knows! That negates too much in my mind.
